Loren Ami

Loren Ami was a descendant of Sadie Adams.  However, he learned to make pottery from Dextra Quotskuyva Nampeyo.  His pottery has a similar traditional style to the painting and the forms.  He is well known for his canteens and classic shapes. Each piece was coil built, painted with native clays (red) and bee-weed.
