Louise Amos (b. 1947) is a granddaughter of Dolores Stein, a daughter of Frances Abeita and a sister of Jennie Laate.  She is known for her traditional style of Acoma pottery.  This small jar is coil built and patined with bee-weed (black) and clay slips. The neck of the jar is flute and painted inside with the “sunrise” band. The shoulder of the jar has fineline rain and cloud patterns.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “Louise Amos”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  Shipping is included.
