Melissa Concho Antonio (b. 1965) is a daughter of Gilbert and Lillie Concho and married to Daniel Antonio.  She is a sister-in-law of Frederica Antonio.  This piece is coil-built and painted with bee-weed (black) and additional clay slips.  It is a small classic Acoma-shaped water jar.  The designs are rows of mountain patterns.  The inside of the neck is slipped with red clay.  It is intricate and eye-dazzling for its size.  It is signed on the bottom, “M. C. Antonio”.
