Linda “Jo Povi” Askan is a daughter of Marie and Andy Askan.   She is known for her highly polished pottery.  This wedding vase is fully polished.  It is painted with cloud and prayer feather designs on both sides. The handle has a carved “braid” at the top, which is also fully polished.  It is thin-walled and fired a deep black.  The vase is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Linda Askan”.  It is from 2016 and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
