This is a small melon bowl by Angela Baca.  There are 16 melon ribs, and each is carved into the clay and then individually stone polished.  On this bowl, even the space between the ribs is fully polished!  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Angela Baca” and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
