Darryl Baca (b. 1961) is a son of noted potter Angela Baca.  Her other children who are potters include David Baca, Alvin Baca, and Leona Baca.  This is one of the only pieces we have had by Darryl.  It is deeply carved and highly polished. There are 16 ribs, each fully polished.  The bowl was fired red.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Darryl Baca”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
