Blue Corn – Polychrome Jar with 24 Brown Tip Feathers (1970s)

Blue Corn was one of the great innovative San Ildefonso potters of the late 1900s.  This jar is coil-built, and the gray surface is fully polished.  It is painted with 24 green tip feathers.  It is a classic design and shape.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “Blue Corn”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
