This is an intricately carved new jar by Linda Cain.  The bottom of the jar is deeply carved with three dragonflies and plants.  They are fully polished red. The top half of the jar is matte and carved with a rounded cloud swirl. The cloud is highlighted with white mica.  There are three additional dragonflies painted in blue with acrylic.  It is a combination of her creative modernism along with her most traditional style carving.  Linda is always creating new styles and variations in her work.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “Linda Cain”.
