Deldrick and Lorenda Cellicion are known for their polychrome Zuni pottery.  Each piece is coil-built.  This jar has a round shoulder and a short neck.  There are three lizards in relief on the shoulder of the jar.  They are black and highlighted with white and red clay creating a texture on the dots.  The remainder has a speckled appearance from the red clay, as if the lizards were in sand.  The jar is signed, “Deldrick and Lorenda Cellicion”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
