Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This bowl is coil built.  It is painted with a spiraling flower design made up of small triangles.  There are two spiraling bands that are painted with red clay. The design extends from the rim to the base.  The rim of the bowl is slightly inturned adding to the visual strength of the design.  It is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
