Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This jar is coil built and painted before firing. The jar has a feather design around the neck.  There are three turtles around the jar and they are surrounded by a lightning pattner.  She has mottled the area around the lightning designs.  It is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
