Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This large seedpot is coil built. The piece has a complex design on both the top and bottom.  It is meant to look like the weaving of a basket.  The central medallion on top is a series of thin lines.  The piece is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
