Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This seedpot is coil built. The piece has a fine-line flower design on the top that extends from the center to the rim. There is an offset Acoma parrot as part of the design and it is highlighted with red clay slip.  The piece is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
