Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This large seedpot is coil built and painted before firing. The seedpot has a flower design that extends outward from the center.  The petals are triangular in shape. There is a red-colored clay used to highlight the design. It is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
