Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This seedpot is coil built. The piece has a sunflower design. In the center, it is painted with thin lines to look like the center of a sunflower.  Near the edge, there are larger diamond-shaped patterns that have either red clay dots or mottle black.  The piece is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
