Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This tall jar is coil built and painted before firing. The jar has a corrugated rim and the remainder of the piece is painted with spiraling triangular mountain designs.  The shape and design create a strong visual appearance. It is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
