WOW! This is a striking water jar by Debbie Clashin.  The jar is an elegant shape with a wide shoulder and an elongated neck.  The inside neck of the jar is fully polished.  The jar has four sections of the design.  There are large eagle tail patterns with dragonflies and stars.  Separating them are Sikyatki birds with stars and dragonflies. above a sunset design.  She has used both a deep red and orange-colored clay to accent the black bee-weed painted designs.  Below the shoulder are painted mountain designs.  It is a complex jar in design and elegant in form.  The jar was traditionally fired so there are blushes on the surface.   It is signed on the bottom with her name and a pipe for his “Tobacco Clan”.
