Carolyn Concho is well known for her beautifully painted pottery using Mimbres animals, reptiles, and insects.  This jar has a round body and an elongated neck.  There are lizards around the body of the jar and climbing up the neck.  Each lizard is painted with bee-weed and additional clay slips.  All the different colors are from natural clay slips.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “C. Concho”.
