Frances Concho (b. 1947) is a sister of Norbert Patricio and the mother of Marietta Juanico.  She is known for her traditional pottery.  This jar is coil built and patined with bee-weed (black).  The jar has a classic rain and lightning pattern.  It is intricately painted for the size and it is definitely a strong graphic image on the jar. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Frances Concho”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
