Warren Coriz (d. 2011) was married to Ione Coriz and learned to make pottery from his mother-in-law Hilda Coriz and her brother, Robert Tenorio.  This large open bowl is painted with a Kewa bird on the inside. It is surrounded by a Sun design. The red clay used for the sun and the red around the rim of the bowl has mica.  The outside of the bowl is also fully painted with rain and cloud designs.  The bowl is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Warren Coriz”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
