The painting on this jar by Dolores Curran is very complex for its size.  The entire piece is fully polished and painted with designs. There is a Pueblo bird on one side with a flower.  The remainder has rain and lightning patterns.  It was traditionally fired black and has a glossy surface from the stone polishing. The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Dolores Curran”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
