Dallas, Tony – Koshari Clown “Tumbler” with Raincloud Design

4.25" long x 2.75"h

$ 100.00

Tony Dallas has been making his distinctive storyteller figures since 1982.  This is one of his koshari clowns.  The clown here is painted black-and-white and it is a traditional figure in Hopi culture.  This figure is one of his “tumblers”.  He makes them so they can stand in any direction, from doing the splits to hand stands!  This Koshari is painted with a rain cloud on his loincloth.  As the clowns are a source of fun and humor, it can be seen in the ‘tumbling’ antics of this piece!  The piece is signed on the foot with his initials.
