Jason Ebelacker is a son of Richard Ebelacker and grandson of Virginia Ebelacker.  Jason has been focusing on traditional shapes for his pottery.  This jar has a stunning wide shoulder and then a slight, sharp indention before turning up to the neck. This is a technically difficult form and it has an elegant shape. The bear paws are on the neck of the jar.  The entire piece has to polished at one time and it has a high shine and great angle of reflection from the shape.   Jason is certainly one of the younger potters to watch!
