Victor Eckelberry (b.1958) is known for his deeply carved pottery.  He is a son of Mary Louise Eckelberry and a grandson of Christina Naranjo.  He is name after his grandfather, Victor Naranjo.  He began making pottery around 1985.  This small water jar has clouds carved on the neck and an avanyu carved into the shoulder of the jar.  The base has wave designs.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Victor Eckelberry”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
