Victor Eckelberry (b.1958) is known for his deeply carved pottery.  He is a son of Mary Louise Eckelberry and a grandson of Christina Naranjo.  He is name after his grandfather, Victor Naranjo.  He began making pottery around 1985.  This seedpot has clouds carved on the rim and an avanyu carved into the body of the piece.  The base has wave designs.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Victor Eckelberry”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
