Fragua, Glendora – Seedpot with Corn, Flowers and Lapis
Glendora Fragua is known for her polished and intricately incised pottery. This piece is slipped tan and then etched. There is a corn and flower pattern as the design in the polished red on the top of the piece. There is a single inset piece of Lapis. The red area is also highlighted with additional clay slips. On the side are etched clouds and a single flower. The piece is signed on the bottom with a corn stalk, Glendora’s hallmark.
