The jar is fully painted with a plant and lightning design.  The designs are painted in black and then highlighted with additional red and ochre clay slips.  The various colors create the classic Acoma “Four Color” or Polychrome jar.  The jar was traditionally fired and it is signed on the bottom, “Jessie Garcia” It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
