Tse-Pe Gonzales was a son of noted potter Rose Gonzales.  This seedpot combines the various techniques for which he was well known.  The piece is fully polished brown.  The clay is mixed with mica so there is a sparkle to the surface.  There is a heartline bear etched into the clay.  Above the bear is a sun design. The bear has shell inlay for the eye and the sun has turquoise inset.  The piece is signed on the bottom bottom with Tse-Pe’s hallmark. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
