Denny Gutierrez was known for his faceted melon bowls.  However, he also created exceptional painted vessels. This bowl is round in shape and fully polished. It is an unusual design for his pottery.  Each of the four panels has a different design from clouds to mesas and bird wings.  It is a striking pattern on a highly polished surface.  The bowl was made in 1988.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Denny Gutierrez”.
