Denny Gutierrez was known for his faceted melon bowls.  However, he also created exceptional painted vessels. This bowl is round in form and has a short neck.  It is very tightly painted with 44 feathers.  Note how they are painted at a slight angle.  The bowl is polished to a glossy shine.  It is from 1986.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Denny Gutierrez”.
