Gutierrez, Kathy – Black Water Jar with Avanyu

Kathy Gutierrez is a daughter of noted potter Helen Gutierrez and a sister of Geraldine Gutierrez, Carol, and Rose Gutierrez.  This jar has a round shoulder and a short neck.  It is fully polished and has an avanyu painted on the shoulder.  It is fired a glossy black.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “Kathy N. Gutierrez”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
