Margaret Gutierre was famous for her polychrome clay animal figures.  After her brother, Luther passed away, Margaret both made and painted the pottery.  This is a group of three figures. There are a frog, pig, and turtle.  All of the colors are from natural clay slips.   Each is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  Each is signed on the bottom, “Margaret”.
