Gutierrez, Rose – Red Bowl with Avanyu

Rose Gutierrez is a daughter of noted potter Helen Gutierrez and a sister of Geraldine Gutierrez and Kathy Gutierrez.  This small bowl is fully polished red.  It is painted with an avanyu (water serpent) as the design.  It is a classic design on a small bowl. It is signed on the bottom, “Rose Gutierrez”.
