This seedpot by Art Cody Haungooah is from 1981. It is fully polished and has a central medallion with a Mimbres style turtle. In the center of the turtle is a katsina figure. Note the lightly etched designs on the legs of the turtle. The remainder is highly polished red. The piece is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Haungooah” and a flute player, which is how he signed his work in 1981. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
