Emma Lewis was a daughter of noted potter Lucy M. Lewis.  This small bowl is painted with bee-weed (black),  This piece has a “double lobe” creating a unique shape.  There are seven Mimbres rabbits painted as the design.  There is a band of diamond shaped stars.  The jar is signed on bottom, “Emma Lewis”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
