Emma Lewis was a daughter of noted potter Lucy M. Lewis.  This small bowl is painted with bee-weed (black),  There are two Mimbres-style rabbits in the design.  Note the tightly painted designs on the feet and faces! The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Emma Lewis”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
