This seedpot by Eric Lewis has a sharp shoulder and it is fully painted. He has painted it in a bold style to create the stylized forms across the surface. The top of the seedpot has mountain designs, surrounded by bird swirls, clouds, and lightning.  Eric has taken classic Acoma linear designs and made them both bolder and more graphic. The result is a striking piece with modernist imagery.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Eric Lewis”.
