$ 275.00

Lorna Lomakema is a daughter of noted potter Sadie Adams.  She began making pottery in the 1970s’ but no longer make any work in clay.  This open bowl is fully polished. It is painted on the inside with a Hopi bird design. Around the outside, there are Hopi bird wings and cloud patterns.  The piece was traditionally fired. The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Lorna Lomakema”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  This bowl was originally purchased from Richard Howard in 1977.  There is certainly a wonderful similarity in her work and that of her mother!
