This is a very intricately painted seedpot by Rebecca Lucario.  She is known for her delicate and very finely painted pottery.  This seedpot is fully painted on the top with bee-weed and clay slips.  There are five Mimbres-inspired fish as the design. Each fish is different and highlighted with various clay slips.  They are surrounded by wave and water designs, with thin lines.  The edge of the seedpot has additional designs highlighted with various clay colors.  It is amazing how thin the lines are in her painting!  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “R Lucario”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
