The remainder is painted with bee-weed (black). The bowl was traditionally fired and there and there are blushes on the surface.  The piece is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Garrett Maho”.  Garrett has won numerous awards including the “Helen Naha” Award at Santa Fe Indian Market.
