This is a collaborative jar by Corn Moquino and his son, Melvin.  The jar was made by Melvin and designed by Corn Moquino.  The piece is coil built and it is black and sienna in coloration.  The piece was fully polished, then etched with the design. There are two hummingbirds on the jar. They are surrounded by traditional cloud and wind designs.  The hummingbirds are two-toned black-and sienna.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Melvin Moquino + Corn”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
