This is an unusual bowl by Corn Moquino.  The bowl is coil-built and highly polished red.  He made very few redware pieces.  There is a hummingbird etched into the clay on each side.  They are each next to a flower. The etching is a more complicated style with various levels etched away to create the shadiing.  The bowl is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Corn Moquino”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
