This large bowl is by Helen “Featherwoman” Naha is one of her classic forms and designs from the late 1980s. The bowl is fully polished white on both the inside and outside.  Helen would almost always polish the inside of her pottery.  The outside has a start pattern over a rainbow design. The rainbow is painted with a red clay. The remainder of the bowl is painted with bee-weed.  There are additional rain and cloud designs around the base of the bowl as well as above the rainbows.  The bowl is signed on the bottom with a feather, which was Helen’s hallmark.  The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
