This large tile by Les Namingha uses a variation of Zuni designs.  The surface is textured and has a mica mixed in with the paint.  The tan design is a pair of Zuni rainbirds.  Behind them are larger triangular geometric patterns.  Again, designs often seen on Zuni pottery.  The coloration is subtle but dramatic with these classic designs!  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Les Namingha”.
