Dominguita Sisneros Naranjo is a daughter of noted Ohkay Owingeh potter Tomasita Montoya and a sister of Rosita de Herrera. This large jar is a classic style for San Juan Pottery.  It is polished tan at the top and bottom. The jar is fully designed with very precise incised lines. They create both geometric and rain designs.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Dominguita Naranjo”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
