Forrest Naranjo creates modernist Santa Clara pottery that is coil-built, stone polished, and traditionally fired brown.  It is then etched with designs.  This bowl is fully polished and the neck is matte.  The piece is etched around the top of the shoulder with turtles and quail.  They are stylized, so takes a minute to find them!  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is signed on the bottom, “Forest N.”.
