This is an unusual shape by Geri Naranjo.  She is known for her miniature pottery and intricate designs.  Here the entire piece is fully polished.  It is very unusual that she made a bowl with a handle.  They are difficult to make and there is additional risk in the firing with the handle.  The body of the piece is fully etched with a feather pattern, avanyu and very intricate cloud, rain and lightning designs.  The entire piece is almost fully designed!  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Geri Naranjo”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
