Kevin Naranjo creates beautifully incised pottery with realistic scenes.  This jar is fully polished and designed.  The rim has been two-toned after the firing.  The rim has a cloud pattern and below is an avanyu (water serpent).  The remainder of the jar is fully etched with designs.  There are three very realistic elk standing in front of a Pueblo scene.  Note the realism and precision of each of the deer!  The base is designed with plant patterns.  He is able to create a lot of realism in his pottery designs.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Kevin Naranjo”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
