Monica Romero is a daughter of noted potter Geri Naranjo, a sister of Kevin Naranjo and a niece of Dolores Curran.  She is known for her very detailed miniature pottery.  This jar is a larger piece of her pottery.  It is highly polished fully designed.  There is an avanyu around the shoulder of the piece.  Near the neck is a detailed rose, representing the Tewa name for Santa Clara Pueblo.  Below the shoulder are more flowers, rain, and feather designs. The jar has a lot of designs for the size!  It is signed on the bottom, “Monice Romero”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
