Sammy Naranjo (b. 1972) is the son of Flora Naranjo.  This jar is fully polished and etched with an avanyu (water serpent) around the side. The neck of the jar has etched feathers.  The jar is fired black with areas that are double-heated to create the sienna.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Sammy Naranjo”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
